SPECIALTY SERVICE PROGRAM Our
Specialty Service Program (SSP) provides intensive therapies to eligible
children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) up to three years of age,
who
reside in ELIGIBILITY
FOR SSP In
order to be eligible for this MDPH SSP, your child must have received one of
the following confirmed diagnoses: Ø
Autism Ø
Pervasive
Developmental Disorder – Not
otherwise specified (PDD-NOS) Ø
Asperger’s
Disorder Ø
Rett’s
Disorder Ø
Childhood
Disintegrative Disorder NEXT
STEPS: Ø
In
conjunction with your primary EIP, you will complete the SSP Referral form. Ø
Your
Service Coordinator will forward it to the SSP Coordinator. Ø
A
joint visit with your family, your service coordinator, and the SSP
Coordinator will be scheduled. Ø
Necessary
information will be gathered to determine programming for your child. Ø
