PDC Takes on the Josh Billings RunAground!
This September, some of the Pediatric Development Center staff will be trading in their therapy bags, laptops, and playgroup supplies for bikes, paddles, and running shoes as they take on the Josh Billings RunAground Triathlon!
The Josh Billings is a Berkshire County tradition that brings together athletes of all abilities for a team race unlike just about anything else. The race combines biking, paddling, and running, ending at Tanglewood after a trip through some of the most beautiful (and hilly) parts of the Berkshires.
This year, PDC is getting in on the fun!
Our staff spend their days helping babies and toddlers reach milestones that once seemed just out of reach. They celebrate tiny victories that are actually enormous victories and show up for children across Central and South Berkshire County every single day.
Now, they have a pretty big milestone of their own to reach: THE FINISH LINE!
Miles for Milestones
PDC serves hundreds of local children and families each year through Early Intervention, helping children build skills, supporting parents and caregivers, and connecting families with the resources they need during the first three years of their child's life.
Every mile our team completes is a chance to celebrate those children and the milestones (big, small, and everything in between) that we are lucky enough to witness every day.
Of course, there is also something wonderfully PDC about a group of coworkers looking at a race involving biking, paddling, and running and collectively deciding, Sure. Why not?

We would love to see PDC families, friends, community partners, and supporters along the course cheering on our Great Barrington and Pittsfield teams!
We’ll be meeting at the Stockbridge Town Beach with noisemakers to cheer on Shana, Meg, Amy KB, Ava, Katherine, and Helen and we hope you’ll join us!
